Need replacement parts. Spring that lifts the foot pedal, and the foot pedal itself. After 5 yrs use, the notched end is bent, no longer round to fit in place. Photo attached.

We just finished a pretty cold winter here in Ohio and used the minisplitter on many tough logs(white oak;white ash). My father,who is 83, found it (6-ton) very easy to use. He wanted me to make sure that you know you have a great product and that an "old guy" can still split wood.

I just recently purchased a 12 ton model that runs on air. I have one problem with it...It's almost too easy! I received it today and now I am a hermit. I have been in my workshop for the last 2 hours splitting everything in site! This machine works GREAT!! Nothing can stop the shear power of it. My husband found you on the internet, it turns out someone in his office has a friend who has one that he is quite satisfied with. We received it on Friday, and my husband has had fun testing it out. He purchased it mainly to help cut eucalyptus, it splits the logs enough to make it easy to get a wedge in and finish the job. We weren't expecting it to split those cleanly.

Hi Pat,
I received my minisplitter today and couldn't wait to try it out on some tough logs that I've been dreading to split. This splitter really did the job with ease, and I was really impressed! Jacking is alot easier on an old man, with arthritis, than swinging a maul!

Dear Patrick,
I recieved my eight-ton minisplitter in the mail, read the directions and put it right to work. After it made short work of some well seasoned birch and spruce in my wood pile, I went over to my neighbors and selected about five 20" rounds from some birch trees he had just felled. Althought the wood is green, to say the least, my minisplitter went right through it. Only those pieces with several big knots required turning the round over and re-splitting it from the other end. Easy.
Thanks for a product that is constructed and performs precisely as advertised. I am pleased to endorse it without any reservation.

Just a note to say that we think that the Mini Splitter is great. My wife can now get through wood without waiting for me. I find it comforting to know that no wood is too stubborn for me. Although I still use the splitting maul for most wood, the tough ones will go on the Mini Splitter. We've been using it on the porch this winter to go through some tough last minute rounds we got. There was snow on the ground, so it was especially nice to be able to split on the porch without damaging anything.
Considering its strength and design we are very satisfied and feel that it is a real value.

I just wanted to tell you how delighted Mom and I are with your mini
splitter. We have a Lopi Patriot woodstove in a single wide mobile home.
It takes us only a few minutes to split three days' worth of wood, and it
doesn't bother my heart or Mom's back. This is a very clever invention and
well worth the money. Now we are much more independent when it comes to the
wood supply.

Thanks for the compliment. Many people write in about how much they like their Mini Splitter, but not always, and it's nice to hear when they do. It's not an easy business, for an American product manufacturer these days, and it's when we receive emails like yours it makes our day, and keeps us going.
You can touch up paint your splitter with spray paint like Rustoleum. Just clean and sand up the surface a little before hand.Some people keep a coat of spray lube on theirs.

We wanted to let you know how happy we are with our air powered mini splitter. My wife and I have found a new passtime... "splitting wood", and I never thought I would say that. This was usually always my chore, and over the years (we're retired now), it has become more difficult eventhough I've always liked the exercise.
When our mini splitter arrived, my wife's curiousity got the best of her as I unpacked the splitter, and set it up. Before you know it, we were splitting wood...TOGETHER! That's never happend. I set the logs on the splitter, and my wife operates the air control, then we switch off.
I used to borrow my neighbors gas powered splitter, when I was tired of using my maul. Now I don't have to becasue our mini splitter does the job, and it's there when we need it. Oh it's not as fast as the big machine, but we split year around, and it's plenty fast enough for us. I don't miss the loud engine noise, and I don't miss the exhuast fumes, and having to buy gasoline.

Hello Patrick,
Just a note on the CD Rom books "Free Hot Water", and "The Super Bucker"... the books are fantastic! We heated all of our hot water last winter with our wood stove, and our propane bill dropped substantially. The photo's and instructions were as clear as any "How-to" book I've seen. Easy to put together, and we learned a lot. The super bucker works great, and has sped up our firewood processing dramatically. We couldn't be happier with our Mini splitter and the whole package from your company.
Next year I'm putting in solar hot water panels and that will be the near end of our propane use except for cooking. Thanks Patrick!!

Hello Patrick,
We received the splitter yesterday, and my father-in-law was very impressed with the packaging. Very sturdy he said, without even a dent in the boxes. This after ordering and receiving an electric splitter (not the Mini Splitter) where the box and all the inside packing was practically destroyed when it arrived. That splitter wouldn't even dent a piece of mesquite, so it was returned to the seller.
Here's what my father-in-law had to say about your 12-Ton mini splitter:
"This is the one. This is the log we barely made a dent in before. This thing marched right on thru it. So it passed the hardwood test. It will split anything we throw at it now I am sure. We have a winner!"

The splitter srrived this afternoon, I followed the direction exactly (it
must have been shipped on its side despite the instructions on the box), I
performed your remedy, and it split two very large year-old apple logs 18 in
long in much easier fashion than the 30 lb maul (too muich for an old 78 yr
fogie with a new hip) I had been try8ing to use. You have a fan here - use
my name and satisfaction however you will.

Got the 12 ton hydraulic/air splitter today.. I got it put together and started splitting logs(some 16" in diameter)
it never missed a beat. I am retiring my 10 pound hand axe splitter. I was amazed at the power of
this splitter, I think I split a half a cord in 2 hours. Plus my wood was
not seasoned,just a couple months old.Most of the logs were 18"to 20" in
diameter. Still had no problem. Best thing I bought for my money in a long
time.Thanks again for all your help,and it was worth the waiting.!! A great
product for the money indeed.!!

I had a bad hip, and was in desperate need of surgery. My wife and I depend on wood heat, but I was in so much pain, I couldn't swing our splitting maul anymore. Facing the cost of having to buy firewood, which we can't afford, I found Patrick Green's Mini splitter web site. After e-mailing him with some questions, we lived not far from each other, so Patrick brought by the 8-ton splitter and showed us how it worked. I couldn't believe how well it split our hard Oak, and large rounds of Douglas Fir.
We purchase our Mini splitter, and set it up on a pallet. My wife set the rounds on the splitter, and I used the hand pump to split. This worked wonderfully. I have an assortment of wood blocks at different thicknesses, I use for spacers. Placing these under the logs saves time. I have a new hip now, but we still use our mini splitter for the majority of our firewood. Patrick has been great and helped us with any questions I've had, and tips on using our Mini splitter.

I want to thank you for this great product! I love my Mini Splitter I am single and never really got the chance to enjoy my wood stove, I can't chop the wood because I have arthritis in my hands. I got my 8-ton mini splitter a few weeks ago and I really love it. I
injured my elbow in an accident a few years ago and the impact of swinging a
maul gets very painful. No problem with your machine! I have been
splitting green 12" round red oak easily - the only effort involved is
picking up the logs!

This is the first time I have received pertinent info (before I've received the product) on a product I have ordered on line. Your tips/instructions on usage are personalized and very accessible through your follow up emails. I can save them, print them, and read up on your product even before it gets here.
Like most folks you tend to open the box, and play with your new toy before reading the instructions, and could miss some important info.

Patrick, I've got a kick out of using your minisplitter. I was using a wedge and a hammer tinking away at our logs. I didn't even have a splitting axe, and my wife says enough was enough. She found you'r website and orded my splitter as a supprise. I couldn't express how happy I was when I splitt the first log. We don't need to burn a lot of fire wood, cause our mobile home is small and I splitt right indors next to the wood stove. keep up the good work.

"spacer" works, but I'll take their word for it. It hasn't tipped yet!!
I'm really impressed with this wood splitter! It's so easy!! I never
did get good with the axe or the wedge and maul techniques. Now
